Whether you are looking for one, two or six guests, this historic farm cottage in a tranquil rural setting with amazing views over paddocks to the distant hills is exclusively yours to enjoy. The cottage has three bedrooms, yet its not overwhelming for a couple. It is perfect for a family with young children. Children and adults alike, will delight in hand feeding alpacas, horses, goats, sheep, lambs, Xena the cow, guinea pigs and chickens, and collecting eggs for breakfast. Corinne & Ron look forward to welcoming you to this fully restored self-contained home with modern facilities, where guests can enjoy a taste of yesteryear with all the comforts of today. When staying at Settlers Rest farm cottage you occupy the entire home either as a couple or a family. Linen, towels and gum boots are provided, and a supermarket lies just 8 kilometres away.

The cottage sleeps up to eight persons in three bedrooms, one with a queen bed, a second bedroom with a double and one single and a third bedroom with two singles. All beds have electric blankets except the extra folda bed which is provided for the 8th person. The lounge has ample seating, a TV/DVD along with DVDs, books. magazines and toys. The cottage features ducted air conditioning and convection wall heaters to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter. The lounge area also has a open fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen has a two door fridge, large oven, hot plates, electric frypan, microwave, rice cooker, all pots and pans, cutlery and crockery. (ample to prepare for family dinners). There is also a gas BBQ. A separate dining room offers valley views, and theres a laundry with washing machine, dryer, steam iron and ironing board. The large heated bathroom features a shower over a deep cast iron bath. Wide verandas provide protection against rain and sun. All linen is supplied, along with extra blankets for winter warmth. A cot and high chair can also be provided.
