By proceeding with the reservation you accept and agree with Smiths Beach Resort (the Hotel) that the reservation if accepted by us shall be on the terms and conditions as follows: RATES DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT The rates quoted are based on your period of stay. Rates are subject to change as a result of changes in your arrival and/or departure dates. Rates quoted are in Australian Dollars. In the event you complete a booking based on a rate that has been incorrectly posted the Hotel reserves the right to correct the rate or cancel the reservation at its discretion and will contact you directly in order to do so. Full and final payment for your booking is required when reserving the room. Special promotional packages such as Stay 3 and only Pay 2 are non-refundable and non-changeable and fully pre-payable at time of booking. ELIGIBLE AGE FOR CHECK-IN You must be at least 18 years of age to check-in and register for a room. Identification may be required. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIME Check-in time is from 3:00pm and check-out time is by 10:00am. A valid government-issued identification or passport is required at check-in Reception hours are 9.00am to 5.30pm daily. If your intended arrival is after 5:30pm please notify us so that we can arrange an after-hours check-in. EARLY ARRIVAL AND LATE DEPARTURE Should you arrive at the hotel prior to the normal check-in time you are advised to approach the Hotel's Reception. If arriving early you are also advised to consider making a reservation for the evening prior to your arrival. Late check-outs are available on request subject to room availability. Please check with Reception at least 24 hours prior to your departure on availability of late check-out. A half-day room charge may be incurred for late check-out between 10am to 4pm and a full day room charge may be incurred for late check-out after 4pm. CREDIT CARD CONFIRMATION A valid credit card is required for all reservations to secure your reservation. Upon reservation your credit card will be charged for the amount indicated on the booking confirmation page and email. The Hotel accepts Visa Mastercard American Express credit cards. Debit Cards are not accepted. We do not charge a credit card surcharge. ROOM SERVICING All accommodation at Smiths Beach Resort is fully self-contained with kitchen and laundry facilities. For stays under 7 nights your room will not be serviced throughout your stay (unless you have booked the daily serviceable rate). For stays of 7 nights or more your room will be serviced mid-way through your stay. Additional room servicing is available at an additional charge by notifying Reception. At least 24 hours??? notice should be provided. GENERAL PROVISIONS By proceeding with the reservation you further agree and acknowledge that if the reservation is accepted by the Hotel your stay subsequently shall be subject to the Hotel's standard terms and conditions of stay. The Hotel may at its absolute discretion cancel the reservation if the Hotel is of the opinion that the reservation information provided is falsified or incomplete. The Hotel shall be entitled to vary amend and/or otherwise change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. You shall indemnify and hold the Hotel harmless in respect of any liability loss damage cost and expense of any nature arising out of and/or in connection with the acceptance of the reservation by the Hotel. The Hotel shall not be liable for any losses damages costs or expenses incurred by you as a result of any cancellation of the reservation by the Hotel. The reservation and the terms and conditions set out hereto shall be governed in accordance with the law of Australia. No people other than the listed registered guests will be admitted into the property after 10pm. The hotel maintains a strict ???No party??? policy. Excessive loud music or noise in rooms that has potential to disturb other guests will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Please note that we don???t allow the following bookings - In room parties buck???s nights hen???s nights 18th birthday parties 21st birthday parties school leavers Damages of any kind other than normal wear and tear will be charged to the guest account Accommodation that is left excessively dirty at departure will be charged an additional cleaning fee to the guest account. All of our units are non-smoking and smoking is not permitted on resort grounds. A minimum charge of $250 will incur if smoking is performed indoors on balconies or in courtyards. As we are within a National Park under no circumstances are dogs and pets permitted within the Resort including resort grounds and guest vehicles. No outside caterers are permitted on the premises unless authorized by Smiths Beach Resort Management Should any of the above terms and conditions be violated the Management and Staff at Smiths Beach Resort reserve the right to evict all guests from the offending accommodation without refund of any payments and bonds that have been received.
