Margaret River Region Caves and Lighthouses

Margaret River

Discover an ancient underground wonderland, or climb to the top of a lighthouse for breathtaking ocean views.
The Margaret River Region is as spectacular underneath the ground as it is on top, with two magnificent working lighthouses guarding both the capes along our coast, and over 100 highly decorated limestone caves beneath the surface of the Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge.
Both lighthouses, and four of these incredible caves are open for public tours, 364 days a year.

Description

The Margaret River Busselton Tourism Association manages seven of the most incredible natural and heritage attractions in Australia’s South West. Two magnificent working lighthouses guard our coast; Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse in the north is an easy climb, and Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse in the south is Australia's tallest mainland lighthouse. Whichever you choose, you'll be rewarded with spectacular ocean views on a fully-guided tour to the top of the tower. This region is as spectacular underneath the ground as it is on top, with exquisitely decorated limestone caves lying beneath the surface of the Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge. Four of these caves are open to the public, allowing visitors to explore the stunning crystal underground, 364 days a year, via guided or semi-guided tours.

Our newest attraction Forest Adventures South West is a high rope adventure course park, located in the beautiful Ludlow Tuart Forest, 10 kilometres north of Busselton. With 77 exciting activities spread over six courses of varying height and difficulty, people of all ages and abilities can enjoy a fun, safe and rewarding experience.
