Terms & Conditions

All transactions and all documentation pertaining to business conducted on this website will be processed by The Tourism Group Pty Ltd (ACN155 112 584) trading as the Western Australian Visitor Information Centre (ABN 59 155 112 584) and hereinafter referred to as our Company. The Western Australia Visitor Centre is managed by The Tourism Group under contract to Tourism Western Australia. The Western Australian Visitor Information Centre is AFTA/ATAS accredited under the accreditation number A15637.

Prices and Booking Conditions

1. Persons wishing to book accommodation or services on this website must be 18 years or older.

2. Accommodation or services sold on this site are advertised at the rates provided by the individual hotel property or service provider. Our Company receives a commission directly from the requested property or operator and books accommodation and services on behalf of our clients without an additional service fee unless in the case of changes or cancellations.

3. Prices and conditions are current at the time of publication but are subject to change without notice. Prices are either per room or per person as stipulated on the website. All prices are in Australian Dollars and include GST where applicable.


4. Full payment must be made at the time of booking. Credit card transactions will be processed by our Company. Where a requested product is unavailable, an alternative product will be offered. A confirmation/tax invoice will be emailed to you itemising charges made to your credit card.

5. Credit card details and email address must be correct and valid at the time of booking. Our Company takes no responsibility for any incorrect information submitted.

6. Once credit card details are processed, relevant documentation and a booking confirmation will be issued. This confirmation will need to be presented to the service provider.


7. Bonds or credit card imprints may be required by service providers. Bonds must be paid in accordance with the service provider's specific conditions. Generally, these are paid direct to the service provider upon check in.


8. You may be asked to present photo identification to the service provider upon check in.

Refund, Amendment and Cancellation Conditions

9. In the event of an amendment or cancellation to your booking, a refund may apply.

10. In the event of an amendment to a confirmed booking made by our Company, an administration fee of $25.00 (Inc. GST) will apply. An additional amendment fee with the property or operator may also apply to that Purchaser depending on the individual policies of the property or operator concerned. 

11. In the event of cancellation to a confirmed booking made by our Company you may receive a refund. An administration fee of 15% will apply.  A cancellation fee with the property or operator may also apply depending on the individual policies of the property or operator concerned. Cancellation fees for service providers can be viewed by clicking on the product information icon for each individual service listed on our website. 

Unforeseen Changes/Travel Insurance

12. Where a customer cancels due to Government restrictions that are either not removed as expected, extended, or reimposed, the customer will be contacted and offered a refund or credit note (to be used at a later time), where such an offer is at the absolute discretion of the operator. The operator reserves the right to withhold some monies to cover administrative expenses and other losses, dependent on when notice of cancellation is given by the customer. Travel Insurance is strongly recommended to protect against unforeseen circumstances.


13. The product contained within this website will vary from one service provider to another therefore it is the responsibility of the user to ensure any product booked is suitable for their needs.

14. The products and services offered on this website are the responsibility of the individual operator and no guarantee or warranty for the type or quality of products and services advertised is offered or inferred by our Company.

15. While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of information included on this website no responsibility can be accepted by our Company for any changes, errors or omissions to the information included.

16. No responsibility can be accepted for any loss or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly from the use of this site or the purchase of products and services available on this website.

17. While accommodation or other bookings are made by our Company with individual properties and operators on the basis that such accommodation or services for the required dates is available at the time the booking is made, our Company is not responsible for any overbooking which has been made by individual properties or operators and compensation will need to be obtained directly from the property or operator concerned.
