Top 5 Beaches in Esperance

1. Lucky Bay

First on our list for its white sands and turquoise waters is Lucky Bay found in the Cape Le Grand National Park. The entrance to the Bay is on the West End but if you have a bit of extra time make sure you experience the stunning landscapes from the far East end. Keep an eye out for the furry friendly Kangaroo locals who frequent the beach.

2. Wharton Beach

Continuously rolling, aqua waves make this a popular beach for swimming, surfing and bodyboarding. It allows beach access for 4WDs and is an adventurers playground where you can explore the 4.5km curved coastline between the lower slopes of Mt Belches and Cheyne Point..

3. Hellfire Bay

Drag your feet through the fine sands to hear the white beach squeak! 4. Blue Haven Beach

How many shades of blue and turquoise can you see when gazing at the still waters of Blue Haven Beach? As the name suggests it is a 'haven' on windy days as it is sheltered from the prevailing winds. A winding staircase leads you down to this hidden gem with a stretch of sand at the base and to the right a face of granite dips into the ocean.

5. Twilight Bay

Crystal blue waters, white sandy beaches and a large rock formation out in the water, no wonder it was voted as a favourite among families as there is something for everyone to enjoy from swimming, surfing, paddle boarding to snorkelling. Its location being just 10km from Esperance makes it very accessible if you are holidaying in town.
