At the Western Australia Visitor Centre, we are committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive and accessible experience for all visitors. We strive to ensure everyone can comfortably access our services, regardless of mobility, vision, hearing or other accessibility needs.
Accessible Visitor Centre
Our Visitor Centre has been designed to provide easy access for all visitors and includes:
- Ground-level access throughout the entire centre with no internal steps.
- Wide, open walkways with ample space for wheelchairs, mobility scooters, prams and walking aids to move comfortably.
- Plenty of seating throughout the centre for visitors who may require regular rest breaks.
- A lowered consultation desk, allowing wheelchair users to comfortably speak with our travel consultants.
- Large, colourful wall maps and wayfinding displays that are easy to view and assist with trip planning.
- Bold, highly visible external signage to help visitors locate our centre.
Getting Here
The Visitor Centre is easily accessible from Perth Underground Station via lift, providing step-free access directly to our level.
Assistance Animals
We warmly welcome accredited guide dogs and assistance animals.
Fresh water bowls are available to ensure assistance animals remain comfortable during your visit.
Customer Assistance
Our experienced team is happy to provide personalised assistance to all visitors.
Several team members are trained in First Aid, and our emergency evacuation procedures are designed with accessibility in mind.
If required, our staff accessible toilet may be made available to customers in emergency situations.
