Indian Pacific - Perth to Sydney Itinerary
DEPARTING PERTH ON SUNDAYS
Inclusions:
4 days and 3 nights aboard the Indian Pacific

Off train experiences in Kalgoorlie, Cook, Adelaide, Broken Hill and Blue Mountains

Day 1 Perth – Kalgoorlie
After you board the train at East Perth Station you will have the chance to settle into your cabin. The train heads North East and a modern Australian lunch will be served as you traverse the stunning Avon Valley. Sit back and relax for the afternoon taking in the scenery, before a wonderful 3 course dinner paired with local wine. You will arrive in Kalgoorlie in the late evening for an off-train excursion. On the excursion you will learn and enjoy a play about Kalgoorlie’s gold mining roots. After the excursion you will return to the Indian Pacific for the journey onwards through the night.
Day 2 Nullarbor Plain
You will wake up and head East to the once thriving town of Cook. Throughout the day you can sit back and relax, taking in the stunning outback views as we roll along. For meals you will enjoy our wonderful regionally inspired meals with paired wines.
Day 3 Adelaide – Broken Hill
This morning you will arrive in Adelaide where you can choose from several off-train excursions. Options include: a coach tour of the city sights, a behind-the-scenes tour of the Adelaide Oval, or a walking tour (seasonal). By mid-morning you will be back at the train for our departure heading towards Broken Hill. Once you arrive in Broken Hill you will have a choice of excursions that showcase the artistic, mining or cinematic history and legacy of Broken Hill, before dinner is served back on the train.
Day 4 Blue Mountains – Sydney
This morning you will wake up in the beauty of the Blue Mountains. Once you have arrived in Katoomba, you can choose to stay on the Indian Pacific and travel directly through to Sydney, or you can disembark and enjoy a Blue mountains experience before catching a later, chartered NSW trains service (fully hosted by Indian Pacific staff), for the remainder of the journey into Sydney.
Upon arrival in Sydney you have completed the epic and luxurious transcontinental crossing on the Indian Pacific.
