Cancellations
Cancelations or booking amendments must be emailed to info@dolphins.com.au at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled departure time.
Perth Wildlife Encounters reserves the right to charge the following fees:
• Cancellations within 48 hours of departure or failure to attend are not eligible for a refund. In some cases, a rebooking may be offered (medical certificate required), at the discretion of our Operations Manager. • Amendments within 48 hours will not be accepted unless eligible for a rebooking as above.
DBCA may restrict access to Penguin Island during nesting season (early June – 15 October). If access is limited, you will be contacted prior to your cruise.
ConditionsAll departures are weather dependent. Cruises may be cancelled or varied for safety reasons.
Penguin Island will close when temperatures reach 35°C or higher (measured on the island) to protect the penguin population.
All passengers on tours are required to sign a waiver of liability.
The wild dolphin guarantee applies only to Swim with Wild Dolphins cruises. If dolphins are not sighted, you may rebook within the same season (Sept–early June), subject to availability. No refunds apply.
Crew may use Shark Shields for safety. These are considered safe but should not be used by people with heart conditions, pacemakers, or pregnancy.
Penguin Island Rules: • Do not touch or feed wildlife • Stay on boardwalks and beaches • Do not remove natural items • Follow WA fishing regulations
